I want super badly to find disability advocate groups and nonprofits to donate to because this is honestly horrendous. I should find some local to me as well if I can, and even add some actual autism advocacy groups while I'm at it.
Just another marginalized group that will definitely be left behind because of this shitty administration if nothing is done.

A couple of people I follow have brought this up before, but I feel like it needs repeating because it's so fascinating to a baffling degree:
You never hear the media talk about disabled people.
You never see them report on their physical challenges, their mental state as the world pushes down on them, or on healthcare and resources being put more and more out of reach for them. The most you may hear is autism be brought up as a scapegoat or as a performative victimization describing them as "helpless."
You do however hear everything I just said be reported on with everyone else, be it white men, women, children, white men, and even some marginalized groups if they feel like it. Never disabled people though.
Quite literally eugenics is happening in the background of life, and very few people actually care.

I've decided that I'll try using this place more once again. I really don't have much of a risk to not, and even if I'm not a fan of the culture as much, I'm sure the furries here would still really like my fursuit photos and lighthearted silly posts.

For the past few weeks now, I have been getting increasingly angrier about discussion of adult topics primarily related to fetishes, but also kinks. As someone who is learning in the realm of psychology, I've tried to ask several questions relating to specifics about attraction, appeal, and draws towards more taboo interests, but especially from a recent conversation from last night, all I am told is to expect no answers remotely related to my curiosity and to fuck off.
As someone who really wants to learn more about people, how they act towards themselves and their environment, and everything that goes alongside that, I can't begin to describe how beyond livid I am trying to ask questions from a subject that the furry fandom of all places should exactly know how to answer.

Yeah, I don't know what to do here at this point.
I took a hiatus from social media the week of you know what and seemingly the one place I was least in a hurry to come to was this one.

I see a lot of furries on Twitter making leftist talking points, advocating for progressive views, and sometimes being very blunt about it, all while still posting about their surroundings and making it obvious where they are located. They become easy targets for these kinds of terrible people, which is why I, being opinionated a lot, personally restrict what I talk about in terms of anything about me outside the internet. I already despise blogging about specifics in my personal life because honestly, nobody needs to know most of that.
I feel like so many furries forget that when you're part of a minority group or a targeted community online, the phrase "the internet never forgets" cranks up to hard mode for you, and if you're in the wrong spot at the wrong time, what breadcrumbs you leave that are connected to you come back to haunt you.

A sad thing that I believe in that I think people in the furry fandom seem to forget is that you really have to limit talking about yourself when you're a furry on the internet.
This is mainly in regards to personal life, listing locations on your socials, and posting about where you go and/or posting around outside locations close to where you live. In actuality, everyone should be careful about posting these kinds of things, but it's especially important as a furry.
Reality is, people are hostile online. They hate people who speak out about things they don't like to hear. They hate furries. They really hate the combination of the two.
Say one thing out of line and people try to, and probably will, dox you. They do this in a variety of means including tracing what you post, which I'd know for having lurked various dark corners of the internet in my time, and what some people on fedi likely are familiar with even more than me.

I originally had this song planned for the summer when I started this piece. I had a very clear vision for the track, but couldn't finish it efficiently due to me doubting my skills. It didn't sound right, so I had put the whole thing on hold without touching it for a good while...
However, I picked it back up, and through help from others and determination on my part, I managed to finish this piece, and it came out beautifully.
Inspired by one of my favorite tracks from the game Beatmania IIDX, hardcore fans of the game may recognize the main sample for this one.
I'm very proud with how it came out and am excited to share it to the world! I hope what I made can get people dancing and the vibes energizing
