Is there any disadvantage when using OnceCell from #tokio (https://docs.rs/tokio/latest/tokio/sync/struct.OnceCell.html) for the state (DBs, etc) instead of the state management directly provided by #axum ?

Every year on #Warntag I find it interesting that IPhones without SIM cards escalate (receive cell broadcast) and Android without SIM cards chill and don't warn (do not receive cell broadcast).

And I think I like Android better because they probably/hopefully disable the modem when no SIM is inserted and therefore don't get the warning.

Scheinbar hat man aus dem Ahrtal-Hochwasser zumindest gelernt, dass man warnen kann.

@bfdi Gibt es Alternativen zur Beschwerde beim eigenen Landesdatenschutzbeauftragen, wenn dieser sich nicht dafür interessiert, seine Arbeit zu machen und einfach Beschwerden und Rückfragen komplett ignoriert? Kann man sich dann alternativ bei anderen Landesdatenschutzbeauftragten oder bei euch beschweren, oder bleibt dann wirklich nur der Rechtsweg?

Ich zweifle echt immer mehr an der #DSGVO und ihrem Wert…

Today was a productive day, the #RustAnalyzer paniced only 10 times at work (macOS).

• native mobile clients (which have reading status etc.)

• following hashtags

That's why I switched back to #Mastodon.

However, I will probably replace the web frontend with @elk .

I'll also be cleaning up older accounts soon…
