Yes, yes people would. People did, people do. That's what all the platforms are: X, Meta, TikTok. It's the same pattern, repeated again, only 80 years later in a more globalised world that can exchange information faster than ever before.

I find it fascinating that nowadays, my brain is stressed about the fact that I have to be out at a staff meeting for most of the day tomorrow, and then I have a two-day conference where I'll have an overnight stay next week, so stressed that it just wants January to be over already.

How was I ever able to handle this 5 days a week? 😱

Sure, travelling and being around people comes with a risk, but not seeing my wife's family at all is not an option. Missing grandma's 90th birthday was not an option, at this age you do not know how many she has left, that's just the truth.

I do not want to jinx it but my wife and I travelled all the way to Michigan and back to Germany last week and we avoided getting sick. Last time we had COVID was about a year ago.

We were wearing FFP2 masks almost the entire time around family and in public, and we had our FloMasks on during the trip. We also used our AlgoVir nosespray throughout the day, especially when we had our masks off for a few minutes. There were enough family members that were sick, sniffling and coughing, by the way, and I'm glad we didn't catch anything.
