That implies that somehow I remember its name or who posted it.

It's been zero days since I typed sudo reboot on the wrong machine.
I will now set up the tool I was reading about yesterday to prevent this.

I tried #Pixelfed again. I still... don't get it? How is it different than a standard microblogging fediverse application? It focuses on posts with pictures...and? Anything else?

I have trouble staying on top of the hundreds of small tasks I have to do in my house.
I am keeping a list, but I'm entertaining the idea of using a tool to track long duration issues (eg. Renovations or things I want do over a long time).
I have tried grocy, but it's focused on inventory and the task and issue tracking features are weak-ish?
I
Somehow I think a full blown issue tracker for software projects is also not a great fit... What are people using?

While packing for the move, and slowly tearing apart sensors, light bulbs and all the @homeassistant paraphernalia I questioned it all.
Why would I bring so much complexity in my life?
One week in the new house (with huge thermal issues that I want to monitor, and partially solve before renovations) and it all made sense.
Each part of my system that I bring back online is a step into the comfort I grew accustomed to.

Last night we drove from Munich to our new home, for the last time (I'll be in Munich from time to time but this was the last move related trip).
The scenery was beautiful.

"I do understand that replying to every external email might seem like a challenging task at times. I just wanted to check if you’ve had the chance to go through my previous email yet."
Why is this a thing? If your work depends on cold emailing random people TWICE (I marked you as spam the first time, FYI) maybe you're doing it wrong?

I'm quite low-energy in the morning, lately. Takes me a bit longer than usual to get out of bed and out of the door. But it sure is worth it.
I'm about to move and I'm going to miss this park.

Used my lunch break to watch a review of the Commodore 64x
It's a gimmick, I don't need or want one, but it looks fun. The commodore OS vision UI is a license to use all the useless compositing and sound effects that nobody would use unironically.
At the end of the day it's a cute desktop chassis.

How do people run #wordpress these days?
I'm spoiled by years of managed DB and object storage, running things stateless as much as I could.
I have to migrate some wordpress sites that I attempted, some 7 years ago, to make "stateless" but I have come to hate my solution as unmaintainable.
wp-content and DB ok, I can find a place to put them, but WP itself and its plugins are...not sure, it feels icky to maintain them as pets.
I'm looking into the #nixos module for wp
