I hope one of you can help me or knows someone who can. The grip section on my pen is rusted through. I am looking for a replacement. I can't find it at any of the pen shows I've been. I've been looking for a few years. The nib is too good to let this pen go. Boosts of this post are appreciated. Thank you.

If anyone is interested in a those large capacity converters for Jinhao 9019 pens, I found one place that sells them. They are out of stock right now, but I was told that they should have them in stock in early february. You can find them here:

New pen day! Arrived today, on my birthday! It is a Majohn V60 with 1.1 stub nib. Nib feels very smooth on my finger. As you can see, piston does not go all the way down. Doodlebud tried adjusting it and while it is possible to remove the piston, adjustment is not possible. Ink capacity is about 1.6ml. So if you need to grease the piston - remove the nib, add tiny bit of silicone grease to the wall of the ink chamber, run piston up - down.

With Martin Luther King Jr birthday coming up, I decided to make a #SwatchWednesday with his quote: "In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends", written with putple Moonman M800 with a Bock F nib, ink is Monarca Arena Blanca. His name is written with Jinhao X159 with a F nib, ink is Noodler's Bad Blue Heron. Written on Midori 'The World Meister's Note' Grain A7 notebook with MD paper.

Since everyone shared their new pens today, I will do the same. It was a gift to me. It's a Scriveiner Classic pen with a Medium nib. It is made in China for a London comapny, but they provide 2 year warranty. Pen looks nice, and light. I have not inked it up yet.

Fountain Pen news! Asvine came out with a new pen! C2000. Material is stabilized wood, meaning they add resin to the wood to make sure it is stable for production. It comes with a No 8 nib and tipping sizes offered are EF, F, M and 1.1 Stub! I am thinking of getting a stub...

Finally received my Red Tier gift! I am very excited! I definitely can't wait to try the tea. I have just finished using Mnemosyne notebook and while I love the paper, this notebook became warped, meaning when you look at it at its thikness, it looked rainbow shaped. I have never tried the other three and looking forward to do so. Cartridges, obviously evaporated (they are practically 70 years old) and I probably will get a converter for Triumph anyway.

So, I went to an estate sale today not far from my house. Just because. All I spent was 2 dollars. On Waterman Phileas fountain pen writing set. The pen is used, medium nib, I am cleaning it now. The booklet is missing, but I think it is a steal. What do you think?
