It's time for an afternoon break and I wanted to give #uxn a try. I'm on NixOS. I see there's a package on nixpkgs: https://github.com/NixOS/nixpkgs/blob/nixos-24.11/pkgs/by-name/ux/uxn/package.nix

is that a good idea to go this way? Does that make a difference from following the instructions at https://100r.co/site/uxn.html?

Hey fellow from Merveilles.Town, for as long as I can tell, I've always had issues browsing https://Merveilles.Town/deck on Firefox, under Linux. When I land on the page it's all good, but it slowly degrades, as if a process was eating all the tab resources, until the tab is freezed. If I close the tab and open it again, it starts good again. Any idea what's going on?

I didn't try without /deck, maybe I should?

My #Bookwyrm instance, deployed on #Yunohost, has been inaccessible for a few weeks following a major Yunohost upgrade. I opened an issue on Github a couple of weeks ago: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/bookwyrm_ynh/issues/67 (& also https://github.com/bookwyrm-social/bookwyrm/issues/3475, but the bookwyrm_ynh issue is more detailed).

If anyone with a sufficient level of knowledge would be keen to take a look to it, I'd be really grateful. I'd love to, at least, recover the data, if not access the instance again! <3

I ordered a CD on Discogs a few days ago (Jonas Hellborg's Ars Moriende). I only have an external CD/DVD reader/writer nowadays, so not very convenient but I couldn't find the album anywhere else. So I intend to copy the music in my digital library as soon as I get the CD. Still, there's something extremely pleasant to be waiting for a new CD in the mail. Who knows, maybe I'll get a proper new CD player and open those boxes full of old albums...
