What’s needed is non-rigid solar panels

More like cloth, so that a ‘sail’ can be erected quite high up in a garden or suchlike and directed around (with rigging) to maximise sun, or furled when it’s too windy, and essentially held aloft with one singular pole (per sail that is)

I think this should be possible at today by having a kind of special thread which acts like a PV substrate and also acts as the conductor to get the energy out of it

We were given a digital air fryer for Christmas which thus far has remained unopened and still in the box because we don’t generally eat fried food because it’s not healthy – eg, I’ve never ever eaten a deep fried mars bar (or even seen one) and all it’s been doing is using up space in the house as a big unopened box
