When I chose January 20th for the release of my album there was no particular significance. Now it comes to it, the title Happy New Dystopia! feels more appropriate than I'd imagined.

In any case, it's out now and ready to download if you're one of the lovely folk who pre-ordered. Thanks!

I had meant to do a Forgotten Futures show today but I got halfway through recording and had to stop. Basically the Christmas break has done me in. I seem to find time off far more draining than sticking to my regular routine and I'm struggling to get going again.

Shows will resume again soon. Just need to get back into the groove.

I don’t particularly enjoy the thought of doing anything. Upcoming social events often fill me with an unexplainable sense of dread. Often, if I force myself to attend, I will enjoy the events when they happen but the thought of them is very uncomfortable.

I much prefer the memory of having done something rather than the actual experience. This goes for things I think of as cherished hobbies too.

Hey guess what! I made an album. It's called Happy New Dystopia! and I've just put it up for pre-order on Bandcamp.

Electronic music producers are you aware of the daily #Jamuary music challenges in which you create and upload something new each day in January?

I'm thinking about doing a daily Jamuary show next month for @audiointerface to share whatever comes in each day in one place.

I wonder if there'd be an appetite for that. Would it add to the noise or be a fun thing to start each day with?
