I have been working on a renderer project on the holidays and today I reached a milestone. I got Sponza rendering properly with materials and textures. I don't what hit me but I have more motivation to work on this renderer than my prior renderering projects. I haven't felt this type of a feeling in sometime now.

Finally, I made it to the #gdc. Today at Game Dev Club we had “GameDev gala awards” for the first time ever. We celebrated what our youth club members have made this year by giving away awards like in Game Awards 😲. It was great to see over this year how people have learned new skills, managed to apply these new skills in a creative ways and ofcourse new friendships. Oh boy, another project and another triangle. I was thinking that maybe make rythm game from "scrath" (not using an existing engine). I have doubts that I'll make it far. However, this time I'm going to document the process so that I can some day go back and look at these posts and maybe learn from my mistakes.
