Yeah @Flipboard now you‘re flooding my feed. Not cool. Thats why hugely popular outlets aren‘t such a great idea in the fedi. The average person wants to watch 100 posts a day from like 50-75 people, not from two. Had to unfollow, sorry.

I tried using #wled on a #xiao #esp32c3 but BOY is it hard to flash it the first time. Its not straightforward at all compared to other things imo. There apparently is a webflasher that only uses #chrome if I understand correctly.

@25admins liberapay has an option of 1$ (or more) per week with a yearly payment to make most of the money actually reach the recipient. I believe this should work way better for you than even 2$ a month on paypal or patreon, correct? At least from me (I'm a creator as well) they take a pretty steep minimum fee.

Would you consider making a liberapay account to get fediverse folks to actually have money reach you?

I need to apply a little pressure today because #n26 still uses #smstwofactor:

As a #banking service, you can not use smstwofactor authentication as the #ccc among others has already proven.

Those of you who have a n26 account. Please open a support case and ask for the sms two factor to be changed to #TOTP (something you can use with bitwarden, microsoft auth or google auth).

We also need to ask banks to not bind our accounts to data miners like apple or google but thats for next week.

@actuallyautistic I think a lot of #actuallyautistic folks dont realize when they face ableism. Being the butt of every joke felt natural to me for years.

But I wont accept that anymore. Every group I join seems to have "neurodiversity" and "open to everyone" plastered on the front door but if you say "please dont use sarcasm with me" they tell you to pound sand.

I think we need a stronger, more vocal, less friendly activism. I dont want to be your friend if you make fun of me.

I want to make you fine folks aware that two #linux #podcasts exist that are highly influential and have great production value!

One is @LateNightLinux (technically those are many podcats, I specifically mean 2.5admins and latenightlinux)

and linux unplugged is the other. Sadly, they dont have mastodon yet but I promise they are worth a listen.

As a professional it technician and linux user, these two have helped me tremendously. Bonus points if you like accents btw.

I just had an idea how to break the movie industry:

a new #plex function

you share (all or selected) videos with the whole plex community

only one party can watch it at the same time

one plex account can only watch one show at a time bc "totally-not-warnerbrothers" might otherwise block all movies by "watching"

This way we could make streaming services obsolete, save tons of energy, bandwith and storage in the process all completely legal.
