Currently, can you see #boosts on your #Pixelfed timeline?

On Pixelfed.social and other instances it seems like boosts are hidden. So you can share posts in Pixelfed and users using softwares like Mastodon or Misskey will see your boost, but from Pixelfed you won’t see them both from Pixelfed users and Fediverse users, and regardless if you activated them in the settings or use a different client. There are no official news about it so I’m trying to understand if this has something to do with Pixelfed as a software, with specific instances or specific accounts

The #Pixelfed growth is kinda concerning.

Daniel may have taken the right decision by making Pixelfed more accessible as possible during de surge of users from Instagram, he had a really good timing, but the following days made quite clear, even to someone not familiar with developing context and tech in general as me, why Pixelfed is still a solo project.

It became too hard to support Daniel right now as he’s clearly showing e deep mental unbalance through his behaviour. He may have his personal issues and it’s not my or other one’s business but him, however as the leading Pixelfed developer he gained a important role and his reputation is de facto decisive: without a good collaborative dynamic Pixelfed won’t likely ever mature and without Pixelfed a great opportunity to welcome outsider users into the Fediverse will be lost forever

I really hope that me and other people that pointed this out previously will be proved wrong in the long run

@pixelfed@mastodon.uno voi avete idea se nella versione di #Pixelfed installata ora nelle maggiori istanze ci sia qualcosa che nasconde i #boost?

Sia io che altri utenti di istanze Pixelfed diverse abbiamo notato che nelle timeline di Pixelfed non compaiono i boost, sia dagli utenti locali che da quelli remoti. Gli utenti remoti non Pixelfed però vedono i boost sulle loro timeline Mastodon, Misskey etc, quindi sembra proprio che siano nascosti solo agli utenti Pixelfed, che però è un bel problema visto che così facendo non hanno modo di ricevere post dal resto del Fediverso

La mia teoria del complotto è che tutti gli stereotipi sul genere nord vs sud esistano solo perché l’italiano tipo del sud conosce solo Milano o qualche grande città del nord e pensa che tutto il Nord sia alienante e triste come il centro di una metropoli

Si Carmela, anche in Emilia i pranzi in famiglia prevedono una dozzina di parenti, durano mezza giornata e le giacche stanno in una stanza sul letto per non prendere l’odore di fritto
