Starting to notice that mere ADHD is quite different than AuDHD ...
The ADHD self help group is still very relatable, but there are aspects where it isn't ...

@actuallyautistic Ah, they're here as well as @autscape .
I'm not sure if picking Wise as the payment option was correct. I now have a Belgian IBAN, but how much would I transfer there in euros?

The Christmas "party" (dinner in a restaurant) was great. Interesting conversation topics. At some point I got overstimulated, so I put in my NC earbuds and used my rainbow fidget spinner. Half an hour later it felt much better. It felt totally safe to unmask. And I got my @actuallyaudhd self diagnosis confirmed by another person.

@actuallyadhd @actuallyautistic and should I just ignore my hesitance to pay money and open up to people who are not "100%" professional?

Hmm. Got a recommendation for this one practice doing ADHD and autism diagnosis for self-payers. The person doing the autism diagnosis isn't even listed on their website ... And there is no publicly available info that would underline his competence in this specific area.
But while searching, I found a social media video about how to get a diagnosis where he posted that one can get a quick appointment for diagnosis in that practice. Without mentioning that it's self-payment for people with statutory health insurance, and that he is obviously associated with them in some way.
I don't think that kind of advertising is in accordance with professional standards...

Waah ...
I was just about to write to the complaint management of the university hospital because of the misleading/incomplete information on their website about the adult ADHD and ASD consultation hours, which they did not clarify upon request, and still said that "until end of August" the waiting list is closed.
So I was looking at the website again. FINALLY they removed the notice that the waiting list is closed, but now apparently it's only an adult ADHD consultation hour.
And in the e-mail reply (where they didn't clarify anything I had asked), they wrote that there would be a contact form - which isn't there.
What are these people paid for?
At least some of the misleading info I had asked about is now completely gone ...

@actuallyautistic anyway, left rather early today and visited a city for a few hours. Kind of intense, my spoons for social interaction were used up. After a long hot shower, just slept for over an hour without intending it. That's the good thing about being flexible - I could decide that a bit less than 3 full days are enough already. No need to just kill time.

@actuallyautistic In the evening I got into a situation where I stood with 4 other people, went to the campfire with 3 of them, sat quite close because we had a yoga mat, and then the three of them started making out ...
Eventually that situation was resolved because someone I knew came talk to us, but I guess I was waiting for becoming part of that ...
