This is cathartic after my trip to Rome last year. Love to see Italy win but not against my team! At least it was an amazing atmosphere after the game at Stadio Olympico.

Nosferatu has to be the best Eggers movie. I remember seeing The Northman and thinking it was amazing for the first half hour and then boring for the next two hours. This one kept me engaged all the way through. Way less dry than I'd feared and surprisingly faithful to the 1922 original which I watched on youtube last year.

Worth seeing in a cinema if you can!

Dude decapitated in central Edinburgh last weekend.

News sources say this poor gentleman had passed out in the street, then got decapitated by a passing coach which pulled his head off via the wheel arch.

Uncensored images of both the head and the headless corpse are doing the rounds on socials. CCTV footage shows group of drunk people who play with the head, and then one of their party "teabagging" it. In their defence I reckon they thought it wae a halloween prop.

My screening stood and clapped at the ending ironically because it famously was the only film to not receive a standing ovation when it debuted at cannes. I can't believe it is directed as the same guy as The Godfather!

I don’t think people in the UK care about this though. People seem to be consistently in favour of banning anything that they don’t personally partake in. This is despite the fact that smoking rates are at their lowest levels ever and still falling.

Labour are looking for a policy which is cheap for them to implement but has some popular support so they can basically say, “look at us; we’re governing!”
