Does anyone know of a good online tutorial (photo or video) for how to catch floats on the purl row when you're knitting fairisle flat? I want to do the Bergen cardigan but some sections of the pattern will require catching several floats and I've not done that knitting flat before. #knitting #knittingtechniques

I use a fidget popper as a row counter. It allows me to pre-pop the rows I need to do decreases or increases on. Here's mine, all set up for sleeve decreases. #knitting #knits 🧶

My favourite #knit of 2024 was definitely the Fungus Among Us cowl by Mary P Hunt. I made mine in Malabrigo Aroyo. There is a #crochet version of the pattern available too. Both from Ravelry. #knitting

I'm dusting off my account here now that it looks like Threads is going down the tubes. So, here's an update on my latest #knitting project. The pattern is Crocodile Line by Anna Johanna. I completed the body over Christmas and will be starting on the sleeves this weekend.

I've put on 3 stone in weight this year (thx #menopause). Most fat burning exercises make my pain levels worse, so I decided to give a weighted hula hoop a go. What a blast! I think my Fitbit has gone into shock 'cos that's the hardest I've exercised in ages, and no pain! 👍#exercise #hulahoop
