Does anyone know of a good online tutorial (photo or video) for how to catch floats on the purl row when you're knitting fairisle flat? I want to do the Bergen cardigan but some sections of the pattern will require catching several floats and I've not done that knitting flat before. #knitting #knittingtechniques

I use a fidget popper as a row counter. It allows me to pre-pop the rows I need to do decreases or increases on. Here's mine, all set up for sleeve decreases. #knitting #knits 🧶

I still have one sleeve to go on my current WIP, but I'm wondering what to cast on next. I'm giving serious thought to the Bergen cardigan by Evelyn Siatra. I'm just struggling to decide what yarn to do it in. #knitting #knits #yarn

Late to #WIPWednesday because I've been in the office, but here's my Crocodile Line cardigan with half a sleeve. I have now reached that knitting out of sheer spite stage of this project. Can't wait to get it off the needles. #knitting

I've donated via Lend With Care for years. Today, I chipped in to support a women led business installing domestic solar panels in remote communities in Malawi. It's the biggest project I've supported on Lend With Care, and I was super excited when I saw it. #giving http://www.lendwithcare.org/loans/82156

It continues to be freezing in London, so I'm treating myself to a home made hot toddy; a lemon and ginger tea bag, steeped in hot water with a spoonful of honey, a squeeze of fresh lemon and a generous shot of whisky. 😋

Any other craft bloggers out there? I've decided to go old school and start a #knitting blog on Blogger. Remember them? I'm still tinkering with the design, but check it out and let me know what you think. https://wyrdknitting.blogspot.com/

My favourite #knit of 2024 was definitely the Fungus Among Us cowl by Mary P Hunt. I made mine in Malabrigo Aroyo. There is a #crochet version of the pattern available too. Both from Ravelry. #knitting

I've put on 3 stone in weight this year (thx #menopause). Most fat burning exercises make my pain levels worse, so I decided to give a weighted hula hoop a go. What a blast! I think my Fitbit has gone into shock 'cos that's the hardest I've exercised in ages, and no pain! 👍#exercise #hulahoop
