So, I logged in over at the "Used to be a business contacts site, but now I'm just the Book of Faces for career and life coaches, business strategists, and sales people," (yeah, yeah, I know) in order to look at my contacts there. I have a letter of exploration I want to send to see if I can score any job ideas or leads.

But I do not remember connecting with 75% of those people. Seriously. Who are they? Were they just randomly assigned to me at some point? Did the platform just think, "Oh, that poor thing barely has any connections. I'll just pick a few at random for her." Sheesh! 🙄

I didn't drop/block anyone for now. Just in case. But wow.

May I suggest that you join us for #Monsterdon?

What is Monsterdon? @Taweret hosts this event every week at 6pm Pacific on Sundays. A group of us watch a movie together and post about it on the #Monsterdon hashtag. The movies are monster-themed (e.g. Godzilla) or sci-fi-themed (e g. Devil Girl From Mars). Some are surprisingly good and some surprisingly bad, but we always have fun.

Watch #MonsterdonAlert for the voting of the next movie on Mondays and for the information to access the movie for free (typically Tubi, archive.org, Plex, and others).
