Wow, #ketsui death label is way harder for me on the new #2ds xl than it is on the old cheese wedge variant. Different screen sizes and controller layout. Better d-pad and a better experience overall but I really need to get adjusted. #stg #shmups #gaming #nintendo #3ds

The #pixelfed and secondary #mastodon instances on #sdf have been feeling really fragile the last few days. Lots of 500s.

I normally expect downtime at odd intervals with SDF projects. I might want to make some backup accounts or host my own instances for these...

just beat the stage 5 boss on #dodonpachi dfk black label novice but nobody told me there was a boss after the boss and it beat my whole ass. i had zero resources left, just my single ship.

i did what i set out to do... i think i'm gonna move on to #raycrisis or something.

Belated #tzag, #fediverse! Finally getting some #coffee down and doing the morning routine; #cats, work, and all.

The #2ds alarm didn't work initially but the second alarm woke me. I blame part of that on waking up long before the alarm due to a disturbance. Not having my phone by me all night and not checking it when I woke up was awesome. Will continue the practice.

Well I think I might use my old cheese wedge #2ds as an alarm clock. I found the #nintendo photo clock application, which I think was for the DSi. The alarms work, and it's not quite what I had in mind, but it'll let me get my phone away from me at night.

The only issue is I can't seem to figure out where it wants the pictures stored.

Anybody have strong opinions on #netbird vs #tailscale for personal use? I still have trouble trusting these overlay networks (yes I know headscale is a thing) but I have had a great experience with netbird in a work setting. Most of the tailscale things I see are advertising. A couple of friends are happy with it though

I like that netbird is based in Germany but I also like the #mullvad integration in tailscale. I use #protonpvn pretty heavily so having that sort of thing baked in seems nice

super longshot here but does anyone know if a US (or at least world) cartridge of #kokuga was released for the #3ds? was there only a japanese cart? also is the japanese cart region locked?

Wanted to talk to a pal while I played a #shmup. Got my SteelSeries #xbox headset out that also does bluetooth. Fired up pairing mode and opened up the bluetooth settings in #bazzite fully expecting it to be a hot mess. The headset paired and I jumped into a call with my friend on #discord and everything just worked. No futzing with anything, even volume levels. Just worked. I shouldn't be blown away by that but here we are. Great job @ublue

I'm not a watch collector but I've always enjoyed cheap resin banded watches, especially #casio and #timex stuff. More recently I have been learning about the more fancy #gshock watches and picked up my first last year. Found this page documenting a test mode for the watches.
