Yeah I agree with that; the part I disagree with is you tagging me in a personal argument and trying to convince me some guy was a raging transphobe because and I quote:

Every time I get sick and have to go away for a while, I lose the desensitizing layer I operate on social media with, which in turn means I am more capable of getting outrageously angry with random posts. I mean in fairness, this time they were REALLY BAD POSTS; but I gotta keep in mind that my tolerance for horrible posts goes down if I've been away for a while.

I mean if I'm being honest it literally doesn't MATTER to me if you vote, so there's no need to keep replying to me that you did but reasons.
My whole thing is that after 35+ years of studying the problem I have become convinced that ending fascism, colonialism, white supremacy, capitalist extraction, power hierarchies, imperialism, patriarchy, ableism, anti-LGBTQ persecution, racism, the carceral state, slavery, climate catastrophe, etc are not on the ballot and will require revolution.

I just got angry at some monstrous posts that are being celebrated as "right and moral thought" by an influential segment of the fedi population who largely seem convinced this is actually the comments section of an Act Blue message forum.
I've been pretty consistent: capitalism is killing us for profit and unleashing fascism to stop us from doing anything about it. The only solution is to overthrow this fascist order and replace it with something that isn't capitalism or we all die. Not "vote"

Actually we don't have to ALLOW our government to commit genocide and ethnic cleansing, just as we don't have to ALLOW our elected officials to install and operate a fascist police state. We don't have to comply, we're doing so because we fear the alternatives - which I'm sorry, would have a hard time being "worse" given the current state of affairs and rate of acceleration.
I don't spend a lot of time talking about voting because "ending the Pig Empire" ain't on the ballot.

You have a point poster in my replies; I'm just extremely angry at a bunch of posts I read reflecting a common sentiment among US liberals in response to Trump's declaration of his intention to seize Gaza and deport the entire population to Egypt and Syria.
