While I've been watching the #Olympics avidly, I haven't talked about them here. But I do have to say that I'm delighted to see Imane Khelif take a well-deserved gold medal after all of the undue and invalid scrutiny she has received at the hands of yellow journalism.

I can't recall anybody questioning her validity of being in the tournament in Tokyo three years ago, a tournament where she lost in the quarter-finals to my fellow Irish citizen, Kellie Harrington. That the IBA has fuelled a culture-war fight now just indicates that the IOC were right to strip them of their officiating status for Paris 2024.

Braveheart can be a bit difficult to photograph unless he's sleeping, because he's on the move a lot. He was obviously clamouring for food when I took these.

Got another couple of expansions for my #RC2014 today, both by @quazarsamcoupe. The ZXTT is a nice addition to my AY/YM sound card to bring the clock in line with the ZX Spectrum and bring the PT3/MYM files I've got in tune, while the SID interface is a nice introduction to one of the most iconic sound chips of all time.
