@seawall I got my 10-year TDAP booster this fall because there was an outbreak at my friend's school (it's good against tetanus, dyptheria, and whooping cough.)

Outbreaks of whooping cough have been getting more common both because of vaccine hesitancy, adults not knowing to get boosters, and the modern vaccines not being as long-lasting as the older, more-powerful ones.

Does anyone in PHOENIX AZ area know of:

Non-police-linked resources, for people having conflicts who may both be in and out of homelessness,

Supportive social spaces for survivors of police brutality, like w the kind of analysis that anticapitalists tend to have of that, but welcoming for people who aren't necessarily 'political',

And maybe somewhat culturally-competent medical or social workers who won't, you know, do the incredibly fucking common thing of gaslighting people when they talk about racial profiling? (You know, the way doctors wind up labeling men of color "schizophrenic" 400% as often as whitemen because "you're paranoid if you think you were followed around the store"???)

Can anyone help boost this? Aster, a mixed-race nonbinary guy and the mod of accessfashion.tumblr.com (about accessibility and fashion / customising mobility aids, etc) needs at-home visiting healthcare workers to help him with picc lines, dressings, etc - so he needs to stay in his current weekly rental - the agency WILL NOT send workers to a shelter / somewhere he's couchsurfing, etc.
