How do you petition W3 to accept a standard?

Every major browser supports a "fill available" keyword, but all of them are prefixed.

• "-moz-available"

• "-webkit-fill-available"

• idk what the Chrome one is but I know it exists

The page generator I'm using (Ktor) supports the keywords "available", "fill-available", and "-webkit-fill-available" but not "-moz-available" which is the only one FireFox/Librewolf supports.

I can manually set it to "-moz-available", yes. But then I only support Firefox-based browsers. Which I'm not opposed to at this point in time, but one day I might prefer another browser and this will be obsolete.

If I were writing this page statically, I would have the option of writing all of the (broken) options in, but the generator only supports one option at a time.

It's time to decentralize the Wayback Machine. I need a local copy of all the webpages I've linked to on my website, because they don't exist anymore.

I feel like I should have just downloaded those pages myself and pushed them directly to my website.

This is also how I found out you could plug in a wireless controller with the play and charge kit??? My roommate told me he did it but there's no way I could believe him given how long I looked into it and everyone seemed to agree it was impossible.

For years I have thought the third-party 360 controller receiver that I bought on Amazon was just junk. Then I found out it works flawlessly on Linux.

JUST TODAY I found out you can manually install the driver on Windows. Not the 10.x driver from this year, but the 2.x driver from 2009.

• Open "Device Manager" (if it still exists at the time of reading)

• The "Other devices" section should be auto-expanded

• Right click "Unknown device" if you don't see anything else corresponding to your adapter.

• Select "Update driver"

• DO NOT SELECT "Search automatically for drivers". That will fail every time

• Select "Browse my computer for drivers" and then "Let me pick from a list of available drivers" and then under "Xbox 360 Peripherals" select the "Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows Version: 2.1.0.1349 [8/13/2009]"

GAME ON!

Search Keyword: "X-360 PC Wireless Gaming Receiver"

I'm trying to learn Scala but being forced to learn Scala Build Tool script instead.

SBT sucks. When are they going to fix the Gradle plugin?

I'm betting this is why the libraries are underdeveloped and kind of abandoned in some cases too.

I wanted to use Scala Swing but then I found out it hasn't been updated in like 9 months and is missing key features that make it unusable as an alternative to the full Java library.

I was going to work on the library but then I found out I'd have to use SBT to do so.

And their new testing library which I can't even seem to find a repo for. Perhaps it's inside the compiler repo which seems to be overly monolithic?

I'm sorry, but if I see you saying this shit, I can only assume you hate poor people.

Minecraft singleplayer is effectively free. There are no safeguards to prevent you from using it. This person never asked how to connect to or host offline servers.

They literally just wanted to have fun, despite not having the money to do so.

To be clear, even if they did want to pirate Minecraft and play online, I'm sure they have a good reason. They should still be allowed to receive support for completely unrelated issues.

Microsoft's moderation is quite frankly frightening and I would not buy a license if I did not already have one today.
