Ostatnio jestem rozbawiony jak mi wszyscy taksówkarze po kolei mówią, że na moście Jana postawili zakaz zatrzymywania się więc mnie nie odbiorą.
A jestem rozbawiony, bo przecież zakaz zatrzymywania się na mostach jest wpisany explicite w PoRD i ten zakaz tam postawiony to trochę tak nijak.
PS zawsze wskazuję jako miejsce odbioru ulicę za mostem ;-)

Pociągi i tramwaje Lego są bardziej przystępne i przemyślane niż PKP. Perony są wysuwane i zlicowane z wejściami do pociągów, dzięki czemu wszystkie ludziki mogą z łatwością podróżować transportem publicznym.
Na zdjęciu peron, który ma od razu kawiarnię ;) w Olsztynie od wielu lat kawy na żadnym z dworców kupić się nie dało, a piszę w czasie przeszłym bo mam naiwną wiarę, że może w końcu teraz po remoncie, na stacji Olsztyn Główny da się dostać kawę :)

I've finally made it, started learning Rust, read most of the book and finished rustlings.
Now looking around for interesting projects to quickly ramp up my skill ;-)
I had few approaches to Rust but never enough space to master it. But now it looks that a lot of work in a space i'm good at (data processing and databases) is written in Rust. E.g. #ParadeDB or #NeonDB they're both written in it.

A little update: after about 1h of print, I've experienced X-axis shift, and after about 40minutes Y-axis shift. Not sure what happend as i've not been around. Need to investigate further today.
Some people claim that a problem happen to be PrusaLink and incorrectly generated g-code. It's hard to believe that. I've seen a weird ball of melted filament where the support should be. I think it may have blocked the nozzle move. That's a guess for now.

Today I’ve advanced to a next level of 3D printing fan club.
Yesterday, when printing a part for my son’s base the printer went awry and messed it up. I’ve stoped it in the middle of printing. I’ve then tried a tiny few minute model, and it failed.
I’ve decided to run printer calibration and to my surprise it failed. I’ve rerun it 3 times with same result: Y-axis cannot be calibrated.
I’ve spend some time searching and it seemed that a Y-axis belt may be incorrectly fastened. I’ve used Prusa app to check it, but it seemed good.
I’ve been wondering what else may be wrong and had an “aha” moment and decided to check all screws. That’s how I’ve found out that the screws on this little piece have loosen themselves and were causing a slip when an engine was trying to push the printing bed really fast.
Now it works and I can go back and print the joints ;-)

Gdy pracowałem w Google miałem okazję 4 razy być na jego wykładzie, wstępował zawsze do biura w Zurychu po drodze do Davos.
Eric zawsze dawał świetne wykłady na bieżące tematy, problemy i wyzwania stojące przed Google i światem. Wg mnie jest niesamowicie inspirującym rozmówcą.

Z dziennika taty.
W czwartek wróciłem z Warszawy osłabiony. W domu wszyscy zdrowi.
W piątek zdychałem.
Syn w sobotę zbudził się rano z wymiotami. Po 6h leżenia na kanapie stwierdził że jest zdrowy i zaczął biegać. Jest zdrowy.
Mija niedziela, ja nadal jestem chory.

Zaprojektowałem w końcu pudełko do przechowywania częściowo posortowanego Lego.
Ten wydruk to 3 albo 4 wersja projektu. Wcześniej nie potrafiłem go dopchać do końca, m. in. dlatego nie umiem w OpenScad robić rzeczy typu chamfer. Udało mi się nahackować podobny efekt za pomocą operacji na kształtach (difference oraz intersection), ale jestem z niego umiarkowanie zadowolony.
Kolejna wersja powinna być stackowalna i mieć pokrywkę. To kluczowe żeby fajnie dało się ułożyć.
Znajomy zasugerował szybkę z przodu, może kiedy pomodzę.

Ktoś się pokusił o wizualizację liczby dni upalnych w ostatnich latach w Polsce ;)
Jak widać, mamy upalnie.
W miejscu, z którego pochodzę bywało 4 dni upalne, teraz to do 18.
W #Olsztyn.ie gdzie obecnie mieszkam to były 3 dni, a jest 7-8.
To będzie nie do wytrzymania dla masy z nas i otoczenia jakie znaliśmy.
