Fully completed shawl, hanging up to dry. I wish I could lay it flat to block it, but my apartment is small and my cat is a menace. It's mostly (old mystery) fingering weight acrylic anyway, but held double with some lace weight merino for a little warmth.

On my first day of Knitmas, I crocheted myself a new hat. A little slouchy, but quite cozy.
For anyone who cares, I made the pattern up myself. After the initial flat circle for the crown, it's just sc-hdc cluster stitches, with a fpdc ribbed border. Cascade 220 Superwash Aran Wave yarn with a size J hook.
