Someone told me about a tutor who told them they had no business programming, and that they were terrible at it.

It absolutely maddens me that people do this to students and newcomers to software development.

I told them that that tutor was wrong, an asshole, and had no business teaching.

One of my professional values is to constantly stick it to gatekeepers, and uphold collaboration, support, and learning - fuck those guys.
