Which of my old friends and acquaintances have passed away this year? 🤔

Will I ever find out? As one gets older, the assumption starts to shift from a general assumption that most everyone's still around to a sense of uncertainty.

If I live long enough, I suppose my assumption will continue to shift to one of thinking that odds are they're dead.
