I think our security auditor love us. We ask for audit several months ahead (it looks like it's not an habit, the general case is more "we need it for yesterday").

And they have access to the whole code (which is open source), and to a lab with all access on everything.

The qualification call was 3'30" :)

It's a special january, so I will chance my habbit regarding not taking good resolution and help me with a public binding.

I'm slow. I need time and patience to understand how something or someone behaves, what is the system we evolve on.

I know I won't ever be able to make large, super scaling goodness in that world. I know the rapid shift ahead will be challenging.

I will try to make good, be kind and benovolent and fostering cooperation at the community scale and collectives I'm able to deal with. And when I fail, I will try to hear the advices from these people I care for to be better another day.

Take care of yourselves in these interesting times ahead.

So, we tested again and again making the left mildler and compromising against core values "to fight the rise of fascism with appeal to the center".

It fails EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Harris is just the last occurrence, but it is a general failed strategy.

Or it's a working strategy to put fascists in power.

Never compromise. Go harder on the left. And again some more until you reach full anarchism.

I just learn that.

I only met Brendan a few times IRL, the first one at #scalaio 2013. He was so nice, a reassuring head in the assembly for a novice speaker.

I never stopped to maintain a social link with him, something that I'm especially bad at, but that he made simple.

Brendan was obviously brilliant, and not only to find the perfect gif to answer you. The kind of brilliance that doesn't put other under its shadow but make them shine even more.

He was so human it hurt, with a bottomless kindness.

He was the kind of people I thought to when humans were too bad, so that I remembered what Humans can be.

This world will miss you.

I will miss you.

I hope you'll will find the peace that eluded you here.

Odersky is looking to add [x, y, z] syntax for collections.

Which in an other timeline and evolution cycle could have seem a good thing (for ex circa 2010), seems like one useless fragmentation for the sake of cargo culting Python today, here, for me.
