Schlimm genug dass sie mal beim Metzger hinter mir stand.)

But - should she? Gaslighting by the NYT here:

“On what now look like her major failings — such as overwhelming the welfare system with her refugee policy …”

I wonder how one can call the German welfare system “failed” (coming from a U.S. outlet it’s especially harsh) or attribute her support for refugees for any practical strain. The “blame” could be that she didn’t prevent the narrative from being turned around.

The German computer news site Heise Online wrote about this in August, in an article about (h)ac(k)tivating Apple Intelligence on an iPad in the EU. They didn’t use a Faraday Cage though but drove to somewhere in the countryside so the only WiFi device around was a prepared modem…
