The airport is quiet. There aren't any automated announcements on the baggage claim level. People conversing tend to use a lower voice. The atmosphere is rather like a library.

We had to be directed to the right luggage carousel by a non-automated announcement though.

But it also has a great section on general travel topics that you'll not likely to find in paper travel guides. I've lived in Canada for a long time, and used to dressing for the winter, but when someone from California asked about going to Chicago in December for Midwest Furfest in a Telegram channel about fursuit photography, I struggle to name all the pieces of outfit required, while not veering way off topic.

Bluesky is Evil, and Mastodon is Stupid, but both are still young, and small scale against incumbent social media.

So instead of a fight to the death for the One True Decentralized Network, perhaps the two should be nice to each other.

After all, the Facebooks of the world would like nothing better than seeing decentralized social media consigned into an irrelevant niche.
