I think he’s getting off too easy. And catastrophe video is big buisness - go after the media distributors that make money off drone operators, storm chasers, etc., who generate this content. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/guilty-plea-drone-strike-water-bomber-1.7447371

-8°F calm winds and clear sky at 1pm on Keystone Ridge. Still a bit hazy, but very bright sunshine. Only 6 weeks past solstice and we can make 1kw on our small PV array — if the clouds align. Also, Main KL4TQ wx station is malfunctioning - rain has not been kind to it. Taking it down for repair. #MyAlaskaWx

-17°F, overcast, calm winds and light snow mist on Keystone Ridge at 12:30pm. Note to self, to avoid nature’s Zamboni, don’t plow before it rains. Let the new snow suck up the rain, then plow the slush once it gets ~10°F below freezing. #myalaskawx

Although the EPA restrictions impacted public infrastructure the current root cause of poor air quality in Fbks isn’t highways or inversions. The root cause is individual people who don’t care about their neighbors’ and their own health. Over the years Fairbanks has stopped functioning as a community and been replaced by clusters of selfish islands. EPA can’t fix that. #TragedyOfTheCommons #sorry https://alaskabeacon.com/2025/01/07/epa-plans-to-lift-air-pollution-sanctions-that-paused-fairbanks-construction-projects/?emci=e85fee1c-6fcd-ef11-88d0-0022482a9d92&emdi=4bce624f-d1cd-ef11-88d0-0022482a9d92&ceid=571388

How bad are basic State of Alaska services? Not only is the state laying off public health nurses, but once your family member has died, and reduced the surplus population, the State of Alaska has a backlog processing Death Certificates. https://www.dermotcole.com/reportingfromalaska/2025/1/1/alaskans-deserve-a-clear-report-from-dunleavy-on-decline-in-state-services
