With this wave of migrations comes more people to complain that Fedi :fediverse: is confusing...

I still don't see how.

Email exists and it's not even as simple. You can't "migrate" emails. So the "lock-in" is permanent, where on Fedi, picking an instance is important, however, you CAN migrate fairly easily.

There's some learned behaviors from other social media platforms that needs to be re-learned like following. Following people is how Fediverse goes around. Follow vigorously and follow often.

You can always unfollow.

It takes time to learn. Be patient and ask. Complaining and saying things are confusing won't do any good...

It's always VERY confusing to me when people try to advocate against Fedi being an open platform. (which is and always was the goal)

If you want a walled garden, there's MANY options for you to choose from, yet you chose the option that is specifically NOT that.

WWE scheduling Saturday Night Main Event against AEW All In and AEW Double or Nothing is just BRUTAL!! Can't say they don't deserve it though.

Tony Khan has insisted on saying that they're "competition" for WWE and are pretty hostile towards them. Also has refused to make his shows more interesting. Therefore, WWE is about to show them what competition looks like and it won't be pretty. :kek:

If you don't understand how something works, why not just accept it as "that's how it is" instead of bitching at those that DO know how it works to fix your perceived problem.

Things aren't always so easy to fix.

For example, replies not showing on every instance all the time. There's obviously a technical reason this happens. Having every server send out every reply to every other server would easily overload the servers.

There ARE ways around it. Though since it adds extra strain on the hardware and network, it's not built in.

I'm sure it's not as easy as flipping a switch to make it all work flawlessly.
