The spotted ewe stretched out sleeping in front could lamb any time in the next couple of weeks. The lamb by her head was the first of the season, and is already HUGE at only about a month old. He's a single and obviously eating really, really well. 😆 #SheepOfMastodon

You nap really hard when you're only a few days old. #SheepOfMastodon

It's a good day to be a lamb in a nice, dry sunbeam.

How is it I have all these spoiled rotten sheepdogs that come inside half the time, yet the claustrophobic guard dog who won't ever get more than two paws inside a building is the best snuggler of the whole bunch?

An incredibly dry morning, as we definitely need rain around here, but the dust in the air is making for very pretty #sunrise colors half an hour before dawn.

There were still a lot of aircraft up this early, too.

A plain shot northwest over our camper, in the woods behind the pasture. It was a pretty night to overnight at the farm while we work on a project.

Milky Way on the left, #comet on the right. Hard to see with the naked eye now, but still showing up great on camera. Plus the #Starlink train from yesterday's launch went overhead just after dark. It was a busy evening out!

@PickwickSheprd and I had the dumb luck to catch #SpaceX #STARLINK flight 8-19 as it made its way up the coast past NC and VA tonight. I was slow to grab my camera, had to shield from washout from the moon to catch it.

Eventually the clouds really started to interfere. With the moon out now at the same exposure, this almost ended up looking like daylight with stars

Turning the ISO way down and getting back up to 30s exposures helped a lot.

Definitely a few good ones. This one was still a shorter shot with a higher ISO, so not as color rich.

Looks like another good night to see the #comet from the farm in about 20-30m. 😎

Spent too long eating dinner, but at least caught the tail of the #comet after once it started dipping behind the trees.
