I really want my mom to watch Ted Danson’s Man on the Inside because it is such a lovely show about older people finding community and purpose, but she will 100% think I’m trying to convince her to move to a retirement community because it’s low key propaganda for them.

Netflix crows about its tech stack a lot but last night it showed how horribly prepared Netflix is for streaming live sporting events. YouTube figured it out. Heck both Peacock and Paramount figured it out! But Netflix still struggles with it.
