I might be a bit late but the #everynamecounts challenge for the 80th anniversary of #Auschwitz #liberation is still on until January 31st.

To commemorate International #HolocaustRemembranceDay, the #ArolsenArchives are asking volunteers to help digitize a collection of 27,000 #prisoner #registrationcards – mostly from the Auschwitz #concentrationcamp. The originals are held in archives in Moscow and Prague.

Fünf Tote in der #Silvesternacht.

Deutschlandweite Angriffe mit #Böllern auf #Polizei und #Feuerwehr.

Ein schwerverletzter Polizist musste noch in der Nacht operiert werden.

Ein zehnjähriges Kind wird schwerst im Gesicht verletzt, weil ihm ein #Böller entgegengeworfen wurde.

Zig verstörte, verletzte oder durch Stress verstorbene Tiere.

Die Straßen sind voller Feuerwerksmüll.

WANN hat das endlich ein Ende?

Gerade fast von einem wildgewordenen Typen im #SUV umgefahren worden. Wollte mich mit quietschenden Reifen und aufheulendem Motor wohl dazu bewegen, noch schneller auf dem Fußweg Platz für ihn zu machen. Konnte gerade noch zur Seite springen. Er konnte wohl nicht 2 Sekunden länger warten, auf den eh schon überfüllten Parkplatz des Metzgers zu kommen. Und besaß dann noch die Freundlichkeit, mich aus dem Auto anzuschreien und mir den Scheibenwischer zu zeigen. WAS STIMMT MIT DEN LEUTEN NICHT?!
