A couple of months ago I left #Twitter /X and in the last couple of days I left #instagram and #facebook. Personally, it was not an easy step, but regarding the current developments more than necessary.

Now is a good time to join the #fediverse and use more social, democratic and less commercialized tools!

@davidlohner

To create the approx. 10 minute 'podcast episode', I just fed the article into NotebookLM and after a few minutes I had an impressive result (e.g., interesting dialogue, level of authenticity of the voices, relevant questions and key takeaways).

All in all, I do think that it could be a great starting point for those who are interested (e.g., students, lecturers, researchers) in the topic and want to gain an overview before reading the full article.

What do you think?

Following for instance the examples of #PaulKirschner and #MarcoKalz and the podcast-production #hype, I tried #google 's #NotebookLM (based on #Gemini 1.5 Pro) to create a 'podcast' of a recent article by @davidlohner and me about #Teaching-related #Knowledge #Management:

Why #Knowledge #Management Isn’t Just for #Notetaking Nerds—It’s for You Too!

[#]PKM isn’t just a niche interest for note-taking nerds or overly meticulous people. It’s a valuable concept and practice that can help anyone—whether you’re an artist, a student, or a gardener. In a nutshell, it is about deliberately adding, connecting and expressing information, knowledge, and materials using various tools for thought to achieving your goals.
