We're working on a new Ines game for the #AdvXJam2024! Here's some footage from the intro cutscene 🥳

Today's Halloween, the perfect time to play our free spooky comedy #pointAndClick adventure game "The founders of [redacted]".

It features goregous #pixelArt graphics, witches, ghosts, romance, mystery, magic, inept public officials, and mail carrier demons. What else could you ask for!?

It's short (1-2 hours, depending on your playing style), free, and it can be played directly from the browser (including smartphones). Really, you have no excuse not to play it.

We made a new #pointAndClick #adventureGame! We submitted "Dumbass/smartass" as our entry for the #108AdvChal jam. You can play it here: https://apicici.itch.io/dumbass-smartass

This one was a roller coaster. It took us the whole first week to come up with our story idea, then we spent the first half of the second week flip-flopping between "what a great idea" and "this idea is terrible", then whipped up the game in the last 3 days. We ended up making something we are really proud of 🙂

We're planning to participate in the #108AdvChal game jam. We're not 100% sure we'll be able to finish in time (the theme is annoyingly restrictive, and on top of that the idea we had gives us a huge storytelling challenge) but we'll try!

So far we have a rough idea of the story, have decided on the characters and we also decided on the title of the game.

Art-wise, I designed 3 of the four characters and gave them talking animations. We're using a bigger resolution than usual!

The founders of [redacted] released two weeks ago! According to the @itchio analytics quite a few people have played it.

Now, numbers and graphs are nice an everything, but I have no idea if people actually liked the game!

🇮🇹 The #Italian translation of "The founders of [redacted]" is ready!

Good thing I thoroughly tested it, I had introduced a couple of nasty game-crashing bugs in the process of getting the game ready to load translations!

Meno male che l'ho testata a fondo, avevo introdotto alcuni bug rompi-gioco nel processo di aggiungere al gioco la capacità di caricare le traduzioni!

[#]Translation update: I just translated a pun-based joke that couldn't be translated literally into a pun-based joke in the target language that captures EXACTLY the essence of the original.

In took me three day to come up with it. I'm very proud of myself.
