today's silly internalalised theory: the reason large language models and genAI are continued to be shoved down our throats despite everyone screaming from the rafters otherwise is that the metrics chasers who make fancy powerpoints for the people with purse strings can't see anyone's comments about it being a bad thing.
Most modern search algorithms require a search term to be at least three letters long, and most of the complaints are going to be about "AI". So presumably they can't even see the term "AI" being correlated with cancelled subscriptions or negative reviews

Today's daily got rid of all the generic cards and put it on Hard Mode. Finding Books' zero cost synergy cards and artifacts with Drake's Aggressive Armoring and Heatwave A upgrade made it go infinite as soon as the Recalibrator and Grazer Beam showed up. Riggs getting her 0 Cost Charge Beam was just icing on the cake there.

Two things for Cobalt Core today. First, I finally beat the game on Hardest (using the Jupiter and a lot of being sneaky)
Second, done today's daily, effectively building a deck that drew a card every time it missed, did damage for the privilege, drew more cards for free anyway, and cycled through the deck so much it went infinite and broke the Cobalt in the first turn. Yay for Books, Riggs, and Drake!

I can't check; no VR headset to do so with. Was considering buying a Quest headset when I was at Resolution but they chose not to extend my provisional employment after my initial six months, as that coincided with quarter of the industry crashing in 2023.
Still, it looks like they kept the colocation tech that I spent weeks being extraordinarily confused by (the source of the confusion being that Meta's shared spatial anchor service was offline and no one else in the world had noticed).
