@mcc I found this app because I wanted to hide the status bar but I thought of your tablet problem. Idk if you still have it but this app, while slightly jank, is able to hide that bottom swipe indicator line thingy system wide: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.full.imm

If the write secure settings method works on your device it's probably better than the overlay method which messes with the keyboard coming up sometimes unfortunately.

Lol I was following @maliciouslink somehow, suspicious. They really won when I have no idea what link or when. I wonder if the bug is fixed now.
