The Olympic worth flip-flopping on #tiktok makes pretty clear the ban was never actually about security: if it was, it would still be the case now.

It was about US tech companies wanting protection from foreign competition. Politicians caved, but then the public didn't buy it and revolted.

Finally saw John Wick 4. I was disappointed, TBH. It's way too long, and my suspension of disbelief just can't stretch as far as was required this time.

At times it feels like a parody of John Wick 1 with how absurd it gets.

It wouldn't be that hard to cut down some of the action scenes to make the movie feel tighter without losing anything.
