I'm enjoying the Apple TV+ thriller "Prime Target”, about a mathematical genius who is apparently on the verge of some breakthrough about prime numbers and somebody wants to take him down because he's going to break all known crypto or something - and it's kind of silly and fun, but it make me wonder:

Hollywood should make a biopic about legendary, and extremely quirky, mathematician Paul Erdös. That'd be fun.

Cathy and I have invented "Pairs Sudoku", where you have to alternate filling in the squares in the Globe and Mail puzzle without saying anything about your strategy and I hope this doesn't spiral out of control.

Goofy played trombone in one of the stage productions on this ship. Respect! (I was sitting a little too far back to tell if he was actually playing the trombone, but I did note that it was at least assembled and held properly.)

It's "Pirate Night" on the Disney Wish, the night that Disney wants us all to celebrate pirates, who -- correct me if I'm wrong -- are often thieves and murderers. Not my favourite.

I am celebrating piracy by wearing what I suspect is a knockoff unlicensed "Goofy" shirt. Alas, he didn't have a shirt with pictures of me on it.

We'll have to come back for the Destiny when it's ready next winter (if we can bear to visit the USA again, which increasingly seems not to want foreigners) and head to Singapore for the Adventure eventually.
