[#]introduction. I'm an aging nerd who likes #SwordFighting both in #reenactment groups like the #SCA and in #HEMA. I help run a school here in Ottawa, Canada.

Reenactment lead to developing an interest in various kinds of crafts from sewing to leatherwork to carving.

I also really enjoy improvisational cooking.

In the end it's all variations of interactions between sharp things and soft things.

For my day job I get mad when computers do what I told them to do or when I try and tell them not to do what someone else told them to do.
