After Zuckerberg's announcement, I've deleted my Instagram. My Facebook account has been suspended for years but I've now requested my data so I can permanently delete that too. Has to be done #Facebook #Instagram #Meta

I've been using i3 for most of 2024 but think I might switch back to default Gnome when I go back to work. Don't feel it is making me more productive. Mostly causes issues when I need to do anything a graphical based WM has inbuilt, such as connecting to a Bluetooth device. I like the quick switching it provides but think overall it is probably a hinderance

Today I've been trying to implement a CSP policy for NextJs and it is hard. Followed their recommendations and right out the box, it complains because the Next image component violates it by generating inline CSS. There is no real supported method to prevent this from what I can tell. Stumbled on an old post from @sophie having similar battles a few years back. Shame this hasn't been properly fixed 😔

I've been using Neovim for around 2 years. Today was the first time I got fed up of repetitive tasks and learn macros. Game changer for my productivity and so simple. I wish I'd learned about them sooner #neovim

@pollita, @derickr could either of you help me understand max_execution_time in PHP? What is it actually counting? The php docs say how long a script runs but that feels quite vague. I have a long running job that is kicked off by one command and it randomly hits max execution time every now and then. The job runs for a lot longer than the max execution time so I'm unsure how exactly this is counted. Any insights would be much appreciated as I have no idea who to ask about this

Been styling a website in work this week. Abandoned Tailwind and using raw CSS for the first time in a very long time. Not had as much enjoyment from my job in a good while. I can't ever see me using Tailwind or other CSS libs again

I watched Love Actually a few days ago and it is still terrible. Followed it up with Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget and so glad I did. Everything Aardman does is so good and this didn't disappoint

Mozilla Firefox support could soon worsen on the web https://www.brycewray.com/posts/2023/11/firefox-brink/ I can't fathom why it isn't the most used browser and it will be a sad day if it disappears completely
