i have trouble being more active here compared to bsky, it's much harder to gain a following and all people talk about is politics and tech. i want this platform to thrive.

I joined bluesky the other day. Feels much less depressing and more homely than Mastodon.

I expect I'll be more active on there from now.

Hey @moderation i'm noticing i can't properly interact with mastodon.social accounts, their profiles tell me they have posts but i can't see any in neither posts nor replies. Is this an issue on my end or is something up?

I feel like this website is so unbelievably depressing.

I understand that talking about important issues in our society is important but at this point it's the only thing that gains traction on here.

It's just bad news after bad news and nothing we can really do about it.

I don't think it's healthy, and I'd even say most of the time it isn't contributing to any cause other than making us more miserable and hopeless.

Not sure if I'm the only one that feels like this, I'd love to hear people's thoughts.
