Where do y'all buy #music , specifically CDs and 16bit flac? Currently I'm using:
a) #Tidal for streaming,
b) #discogs for rare NM+ CDs,
c) amazon?? for mainstream CDs,
d) https://us.7digital.com/ ?? for #FLAC -- purchased downloads.
e) Does anyone use other streaming services, like iDJPool?
f) (I already know how to pirate and how to buy mp3s.)
I'm especially looking for (d) -- alternative sources of FLAC purchases -- because 7digital won't have everything (nothing does).

So I'm using #codeacademy to learn #javascript and #nodejs so I can use the official #Tidal API released in January. Javascript is weird!! The syntax used in the Tidal API itself is beyond my level. The examples are unhelpful and not close to my use case (cmdline utility). If anyone has any pointers I'll very much appreciate them!! Error message is at the bottom.
My first project will be to sync my favorited tracks to playlist(s), and the 2nd project will probably involve folders if I can find them exposed on the API. I got the first project half written (and working) using the Python API before I decided to avoid an unofficial API that's mid-rewrite.
Despite the difficulties, I feel like I have the right @Ttdal-music/auth init() syntax, but it's complaining .getItem() from an undefined value.

const result = globalThis.localStorage.getItem(`${prefix}/${key}`);
I've tried a couple of recent branches of their github, in case there was a bug in one of them.

Happy #caturday !!
ID/Alt: Left photo: Mabel, a short-haired speckled brown black and cream colored, dilute #siamesecat lies asleep on a pillow. Her eyes are nearly closed, her cheek lies on the pillow, nestled in her outstretched arm. The pillow has colorful mathematical symbols on it. Random living room furniture is in the background.
ID/Alt: Right photo: Blueberry is a fluffy, long-haired, black and white part #mainecoon cat. He is licking my hand with what looks like a fully extended 2.5" tongue. My hand is typing at a laptop. In the periphery, on the laptop screen, there is a chat window with smiley faces and some quasi-legible text (which I will reply with a transcription if there's interest).

[#]Caturday harmony!!!!!!! After a year of spitting rage and then progressing to months of casual swiping, we found them lying this way this morning!! This is the first time they've been a) quite this close, and for an extended time and b) chillaxin, not mutually watching a squirrel. (Note: Mabel's hair often looks ruffled like this. They were chilling this way possibly overnight, but for at least several minutes before my photograph disturbed them.)
ID/Alt: Blueberry and Mabel (cats) are lying on a couch. Their butts are about 6" apart from each other and they're lying stretched away from each other. Blueberry is sprawled on the left, and lays his head on his outstretched front paw. Mabel is in loaf. Both of them are facing the camera.

New server, new #introduction post! I like to retoot, sometimes things I disagree with. I live with my wife and two odd cats in the greater DC area. I get a balanced diet of news, but my politics are progressive/green/liberal, so I'm rather left of Pelosi. I've read everything by #OctaviaButler and #Vonnegut. Briefly world ranked in the low triple digits for #pinball. #Audiophile. Computer (#UNIX/AWS) engineer.
