This reminded me I have to have my doctor send an annual renewal to pharmacare for the blood thinner or they won't pay for it. They should know if they can't cure HIV, stage 4 metastatic Prostate cancer and COPD then I need to take that drug till I die. But it gives a clerk in Victoria, BC something to do.

for the heads of the HIV and Cancer pharmacies to confer and find one that would work and not kill me. When my doctor prescribes something new one of the head Pharmacists will call me to go over my condition and verify the drug is safe for me.
So having to decline to talk to a pharmacist for renewals I've been taking for years is just ridiculous. One of the reasons I've survived so long is because I organize my day around taking meds on time every day.

I just reordered my HIV meds and a new rule from the Make Pharmacists Feel Important Committee says I must have an info session with a pharmacist before they'll ship my meds. I've been getting meds from HIV center since the late 1980s. One time I had to explain to a pharmacist what drugs were and what they were for, because a drug store doesn't have access to every drug description. This is my basket of pills, some morning, some night. I also have 2 inhalers, morning and night and a cancer drug is upstairs that I take in the morning on an empty stomach. The big bottle is calcium/vitamin D to strengthen my bones weakened by prostate cancer. Everyone over 60 should be daily taking 1000mg of calcium with vitamin D for bone health. Your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. 30 years ago I had even more drugs. Most for side effects. Things improved greatly on that score..../2

Definitely install pulseaudio in your Linux machine. It's not in a fresh install but what a difference it makes.

Finally got Covid. Don't know where. My temperature is still normal. Sniffles, sore throat. It's in my bronchial tube's but no cough so far. I had all the boosters and I'm taking metformin to lower my glucose. Hopefully that's enough. Or a morning test comes back negative.
