In case anyone was wondering how I was getting on with Digimon X, here's the state of play. I've made it to the Mega growth level, with my fifth evolution into Jesmon, and we're doing great! Lots of battles, plenty of wins. I'm having such a good time with this vpet. Perhaps it's the novelty of battling. I have a few Digibugz which use a similar fighting system, and are great fun to play with (their system utilises the elements: fire, water, earth, air).

Hatched my first ever Digimon! This little guy is Tokomon, in 2nd stage Infancy. One day soon, maybe, this critter will be a lean, mean, fighting machine. 🤞 I have no idea what I'm doing yet, but it's fun!

Whatever you do, though, please don't over-rely on UPF shite. There are so many delicious, nutritious meals you can conjure up from beans, lentils and tofu, etc. Fresh is so much better. And you won't need those multi-vitamin pills either.

When the chuff will Queer be streaming in the UK?! FFS! Can't find any sensible update on this at all.

Bring back DVDs, for the love of all sanity. For folks who like to rewatch shows/films over and over, there's little guarantee with a streaming platform that beloved media will be around for any length of time. Good Omens 2, for example, will never have a DVD release. It sucketh mightily. 👺

Playing Thank Goodness You're Here!, a sort-of adventure game, on #Steam, and basically the point is that you go around slapping things to solve problems and help the townsfolk. It's stupendously silly, the humour is juvenile, and I'm quite enjoying it. And right now I'm stuck. 🤣 Slapping everything in sight isn't helping.

Just hatched my new Tamagotchi Angel (aka the Gen. 3). Look at this happy little niblet! Angels are one of the easiest tamas to take care of, and the characters are charming. When you feed it candy as a treat, there's a chance of a hungry bat swooping down to steal the snack from you, so you have to be quick and tap the side of the shell to foil its dastardly plan and scare it away. 🦇

My Christmas food shop is in, and I am unspeakably excited about the Moroccan spiced falafel and the VEGAN COLESLAW. I haven't had coleslaw in nine years! Never thought to look for it! Suddenly I DESIRED it, and am now having unholy fantasies of falafel and coleslaw sandwiches over the festive season. Don't judge me.

Edited to add: I have CRUMPETS too. Will have these with butter and marmite. My decadence knows no restraint.

Rereading The Boy Who Saw True, the true diary of a little clairvoyant boy in 1880s England. What a fascinating read it is. This kid (unnamed) is naive, perceptive and funny, noting in his diary how he sees people's "lights" (their auras), as well as family members who have passed, and elementals. His parents are horrified with him. 🤣 It's a sweet and enlightening narrative.
