Listening to The Boiler Room pod (about My So Called Life) and the hosts (one gay lady, one straight lady) are discussing tops and bottoms and I think they are confusing that for dom/sub? In this context they are talking about handcuffs in sex play and saying the bottom is the person who gets handcuffed to the bed and the top is the person who does that handcuffing.

Does top/bottom mean something different in lesbian world that I am not aware of or are they just wrong?

Arrietty made a lovely garment but she is so unpleasant that I am glad Sam won.

Onya really fucking sold that basic ass dress. But she did steal that trim lol

Still full obsessed with Lexi. The winner of the season.

Worried for Lucky going forward, more for the make up rather than the garment. That was… really something.

Joella is full delulu queen of the season.

Really recommend checking out Zoe Kravitz’s directorial debut, Blink Twice. Even though the script lets it down in places, it’s a really good thriller and shows she has the chops.

From Bernard’s change of heart, I’m guessing the show is keeping Tim Robbins around (I can’t really blame them) and explains why we lost Iain Glenn this episode. A name had to go. And while I think the actress is not great, she is better than Common, so I am glad ‘the algorithm’ chose Camille to enter the vault. Hopefully Sims falls down the stair hole as he walks past.

Finally I was very happy to see Ashley Zuckerman and Jessica Henwick pop up as Donald and Helen. Great casting for S3

After an uneven season I thought Silo ended with two really strong episodes.

The front half of the season was largely hamstrung by the structure of the book, but also by some choices the show made. Siloing (eh eh) Juliette from the rest of story and deciding to not have her talk to Lukas on the radio meant it felt like Rebecca Ferguson didn’t really have much to do for a lot of the time.

Having said that, her interactions with Solo and the kids really paid off at the end here so maybe I forgive it a little. I was so happy when she yelled at that girl, but I wouldn’t have been upset if she also punched her right in the face.

Seeing Orville Peck on the finale of Canada’s Drag Race again makes me wish I liked his music. He seems like the most wonderful person and I cannot sit through even one of his songs.

Maybe his move to broadway and Cabaret will finally get me across the line.
