Apologies if I'm showing my age here, but I've never used floppy disks so apologies if this question is missing context!
Every now and again I see people measure things in floppy disks but I have no clue what size that would amount to.

Would anybody happen to know what the storage size is for a 3½-inch floppy disk? Specifically a "common" floppy disk (like the save icon?)
They seem ubiquitous but I can't seem to get a single answer when it comes to their sizes? Wikipidia mentions 264 KB for HP single sided on this page (https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Floppy_disk) but then also 250 KB with a citation needed on this page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_floppy_disk_formats)?
Search also gives many different sizes, what gives?

Follow up, any resource recommendations for someone interested in developing hardware (mostly USB HID devices)? I have some familiarity with things like Arduino but I'd love to learn more about #pcb designing and such.

Would anyone have a good place to find commonly used microchips for various projects? I've heard of chips such as the #attiny85 and #STM8S001J3, but I have no clue how to search for chips. Is it a matter of going to places such as mouser or digikey and filtering until you find something you need or is there a better way to do it?

For people who self-host their websites (or other web services), is it worth it?
I'm very interested in self-hosting a small static website from my home network but the general consensus seems to be "don't, unless you're tunneling through Cloudflare", which seems to kinda defeat the point? I feel like I'm missing something based on the amount of people I see claiming they self-host?

If someone forks your project and removes all references to you as the original author, does that violate the GPL-3 license?
Reading the license in full, I'm none the wiser as it's quite complicated legal language, but I like to believe it's against the spirit of the license?
If not, what changes should I make where this becomes a requirement? I have no issue with people using my code, but it does annoy me when people pretend it's their own.

When creating accessible web applications using HTML, what are the recommended practices for editable elements?
Say I have a list of cards, each of which have a title which can be edited. Should all these cards be individual forms? Or should these be naked input elements with appropriate labels? Or something different altogether?
