These boxes can be gotten for free in most candy shops here in Sweden. Great for sorting smaller junk.

Rescued this old cabinet when our neighbors were moving out. They left it out in the rain, and I thought it was a bit sad to just let it go to waste. It ended up sitting in our garage for a few months, but yesterday when the ground was frozen I seized the opportunity to finally haul it down into my basement hobby workshop. Other Amiga games I'm looking forward to play handheld include Superfrog, Chuck rock, Moonstone, Turrican II, Prince of Persia and maybe the Lotus and Elite games. Not so sure about point-and-click adventures like Monkey Island or strategy like Dune II and North and south, it depends on the controls. Ahh, this could be good! I think the only step left is to figure out the correct names for my legally obtained kickstart files. #amiga #emulation #retrogaming #retrogames

So far my only annoyance with the device itself has been that the power led is pretty bright in a dark room. I'll try setting it to red instead of blue and see if that's less annoying, otherwise I'll probably just cover it up.

I recently bought an R36S handheld emulation device. It's clearly a budget device, but so far the value for money has been amazing. Getting acquainted with ArkOS now to reach my ultimate goal of buying the device in the first place - getting the Amiga version of Speedball II running. Even if that should fail being able to run old favorites like Sonic 2 and Super Mario World in a comfortable way is fantastic!

Latest little hobby rabbit hole: automated iOS UI testing. It's always difficult for me to wrap my head around UI testing tools and frameworks, but I'm getting there! The least useful manual test cases for my app Playway are now automated. More useful ones to follow, hopefully. A good side effect is that I took the time to make sure all (OK, most) views have good accessibility settings.
