I'm always sort of puzzled when people put memorial dedications on things which they clearly didn't build, like what are we actually dedicating here folks?!?! But, it's fine whatever, people grieve and cherish memories in their own ways.

Today while sitting at a stop light behind a stock looking Chevy SSR I noticed that the bowtie on the tailgate looked funny and I had just enough time to get my phone into super mega ultra zoom and snap this picture before the light changed.

So #WeirdCarMastodon #QotD, what's a custom detail you've seen on a car that, while not being to your taste, you appreciated anyways?

For flavor, cars that she has enjoyed over the years, all manual except the DCT bmw

88 AW11 MR2, that she lovingly called mister two

91 NA Miata with a hardtop

01 WRX wagon

02 SS Camaro where she learned that torque makes everything better

11 e92 M3 ZCP "perfect but it'd be better with 3 pedals"

And some random things she has said recently

"I don't mind shifting left handed"

"I do like that Corvettes are American"

"That is toooo low!"

"The kid could learn to drive stick in it"

SWMBO is looking for a "fun" car

• 3 pedal manual transmission
• Torquey power delivery
• RWD or rear biased AWD
• Easier to park than a 4th Gen Camaro
• A "regular mechanic" must be willing to do normal repairs and maintenance
• Doesn't need to be FAST, but must feel sporty
• Can live in the driveway i.e. no ragtops or roadsters
