Cracked the screen on my Thinkpad. Bought a third-party upgraded screen for $130. Today installed it in an hour, watching Lenovo-produced videos about how. I went from 1080p to 4K.

The Thinkpad originally cost me $150 from Ebay (an exceptional deal, not normal). It's a six 3Ghz core i7 with 64G of RAM, and had some of the original warranty left when I bought it. It's fantastic and mostly indestructible.

This is a love letter to Thinkpads and right to repair.
