A review in the FT of the economics of publishing Boris Johnson's autobiography, Unleashed. It ends:

"How could we have guessed that a system run with careful calculation and thought, driven by an ambition to do something worthwhile, might be hampered by the presence of Boris Johnson?"

Some recent news for followers of #ReceptioGate

Romania, perhaps the most prestigious journal for the study of Romance languages and philology, has printed a statement about Carl Rossi's plagiarism in its current issue

Somehow, she still has a group of supporters because she has convinced them that the plagiarism claims are fake news, invented by an "internet mob", so please spread the word to colleagues who study philology, medieval French, etc.

Catherine Yvard, of the V&A Museum, who organised and curated the wonderful "Fragmented Illuminations" exhibition a couple of years ago, has put her exhibition texts and images into a PDF and shared it on her Academia.edu page: https://www.academia.edu/122928932/Fragmented_Illuminations_Medieval_and_Renaissance_Manuscript_Cuttings_at_the_Victoria_and_Albert_Museum
